Last 6 - 8 months been a roller coaster for all the ICC teams. Suddenly the equation seemed to change with Australia loosing 3 matches in a row, and at this point they are on the brink of another defeat in the hands of New Zealand (1st ODI).Australia no more seems to be the sole favorite . Other teams are shaping up well. Favorite team is still fuzzy to me. SA seems to be in a good form, as is Sri Lanka. India seems to be struggling a bit to find 11 fit players (I am not considering the form :-) ).
It's hard to believe that last world cup was held 3 yrs ago, those memories are still fresh but eagerly waiting for the big show. During the last world cup, I chose the timing of next (this) world cup to be a milestone in my life (and is still a milestone :-( ).
I want to bet on only one guy, it's "Chris Gayle".
Well the logo is out, days are rolling fast, teams are padding up. Hope this event will result in some good tight matches.
